separate report dated the 30th of June. And apprehend the Secretary of State will desire that the proposed project be submitted to Mr Osbert Chadwick for report before incurring any expenditure.

sum expended during 1893 will depend in a great Mr Chadwick's report and the date of delivery that it will be found practicable to secure for the pipes and machinery which will have to be obtained from England. Under the circumstances I am

of of $45,000 will be ample to cover all probable expenditure in 1893.

my report dated March the 28th I dealt with the Improvements of the Recreation Ground Happy Valley and I propose with the approval of His Excellency the Governor to insert the sum of $15,500 in the estimates for 1893 for the improvement of the Bowrington Canal and construction of a watchman's house.
